How to reach the farm at : MONTE CEVA - CÀ VECCHIA in Battaglia Terme - PD

MONTE CEVA - CA' VECCHIA , VIA CATAIO 68, in BATTAGLIA TERME – PD

On the A13 Padua-Bologna motorway, take the exit Terme Euganei. Turn left after the tollbooths and after about 500 metres you will reach the junction with the Padua-Rovigo main road. Turn left, carry on for a few hundred metres until the little bridge that crosses over to the Catejo Castle (building on the right). Turn right onto the bridge and right again straight away. Carry on straight ahead past the road on the right which climbs onto the riverbank, carry on until you cross the railway track, while you cross indicate to the left because you will turn left immediately after the railway line. Carry on always straight on, ignoring the first road on the right. After a bend, avoid the uphill road on the left and carry on the flat lane through the trees (Be careful, there is a stream on the right) for another 200 metres until you get to Cà Vecchia.

Coming from Montegrotto, follow the signs for Battaglia Terme. Just before the level-crossing in Via Catajo, turn right and follow the previous instructions.
Access right into the estate is possible with vehicles and vans or school buses up to 3,5 tons. There is a parking area for heavier vehicles off the main road next to the level-crossing, from where there is a 500-metre-long footpath that leads to the Farm.

Warning for Coaches exceeding 3,5 tons. The access road is the one across the Catajo Bridge, which can be driven on by such vehicles only one way from the bridge direction Montegrotto. There are two difficult places on this route: one is on the actual Catajo Bridge, due to the limited space (See the drawing and dimensions of the place); the second is a sharp bend, nevertheless equipped with a mirror to see if any traffic is coming from the other direction. Straight after the level-crossing, on the right, there is a parking area for coaches. The Farm is 500 metres away on foot. When the coach leaves it will have to follow the Montegrotto direction.
